Rosie was a boring, ordinary children's librarian, Rio was a mythical creature of fata. Rosie had a dull ordinary life with her 3 godmothers until one wonderful night when she met this amazing man who changed her world forever and rocked her world in more ways than one. Now she has powers she never knew she had, and a badie out to get her for something she didn't even do! She rewrites fairy tales for adults but never really believed such creatures existed; now she is meeting all kinds of mythical beings. When she first met Rio she told him she believed in magic, but she didn't really BELIEVE in magic.
Now Rio thinks she has some sort of powers she can't control and she is beginning to think he is a little crazy. Was he nuts? What was he talking about? Powers, her? She was just a plain boring librarian nothing exciting ever happened to her. When the badie puts her under a spell and puts her in twilight sleep.
This is kind of a modern day take on Sleeping Beauty with new twists. Can Rio kill the monster and save his beauty? Or will she be in twilight sleep for all eternity? You will have to read to find out.
I loved this story and look forward to more from this author. This is a definite keeper.
