Author: J. Hali Steele

Genre: Paranormal Romance, Spicy Romance

Reviewed by: Reese

Steele brings us another vampire tale but with a spin on it.  Panther shifters that have a vampire’s need to take blood when in their human forms.

Fane the hero has suffered guilt since slaying a friend that turned bad.  Edy the heroine is on a last minute business trip piloted by Fane. These two characters were instantly in lust at first sight and are destined mates. That was a little disconcerting since the hero and heroine had barely met and the story takes place over a matter of hours.

I felt that A Panthers Flight moved too fast to get a really good feel for the story and the dialogue was often confusing. Edy ranged from angry one minute to horny the next, while Fane stayed horny from beginning to end.  The overall story concept really sparked my interest and with a little more character development and a thicker storyline than a brief meeting and a plane ride the overall book could be much more satisfying. Steele does a good job though of outlining the history and race of the shifter vampires.
