Seeking relief from the trials of being a human slave to the vampire Lord Raithe, Jessica Tyson is entranced with the 300 year old love story of Lord Mason and his lover Farida. Killing her torturer, in the middle of the third mark, she goes on the run as a fugitive, sick and almost dead in the Sahara. Filled with despair and a sense of hopelessness, Jessica is still obsessed with Farida and her wonderful romance. Sick, dirty and near death when she locates the actual cave where Farida is buried, Jessica yearns to die by her side. Unfortunately, her companions are determined to plunder the riches and desecrate Farida's tomb, angering Jessica. As she readies to protect Farida, fate steps in, as the commanding vampire, Lord Mason intervenes.

Suffering from the loss of his love, Lord Mason knows that Jessica is a fugitive. Against his nature, and fearing her inevitable death, Lord offers Jessica unexpected comfort; he knows the only way to save her life is to provide all three marks, wiping out the damage inflicted by Lord Raithe. Lord Mason watches the miraculous changes within Jessica and her outward beauty becomes that much more evident. Gazing at her intensely- something about this tiny woman makes him feel again. Confused, Jessica experiences despair and longing equally for this vampire. Fearing abuse by another dominant man, she wonders how Farida could have loved this stranger so deeply. Soon, both are surprised at the depth of their feelings and an unexpected relationship emerges.

A powerful storyline that defies every cliché of the genre, BELOVED VAMPIRE boldly goes where no other book has gone before. The primary focus is on Mason and Jessica, but for those who have been keeping up with Ms. Hill’s series, THE VAMPIRE QUEEN’S SERVANT, THE MARK OF THE VAMPIRE QUEEN AND A VAMPIRE’S CLAIM, you’ll get an update on some of the secondary characters. For those who think that those in a BDSM relationship can’t experience deep emotion, Ms. Hill will prove them wrong. Despite despair and hurt and plenty of baggage, Mason and Jessica feel something for each other, even if they aren’t quite ready to admit it. The reader will already see that Mason is capable of garnering the tortured Jessica’s trust, but she’s not quite there yet. Still, is Mason truly capable of loving again? Can Jessica believe in Mason? Go out today to get this incredible love story to find out. I guarantee that once you pick this book up, it will be difficult to put down until you’re completely finished; even then, you’ll keep thinking about it.
