Lacey Owens is home. She’s been gone a long time and thought coming back will be the same as before. What she didn’t expect was to meet her dad’s foreman Chase Saunders. Something about the man just riles her. Not in a bad way it’s the sexual way that has her all confused. One minute she can’t stand him. He’s bossy, nosy and but he can manhandle her anyway he wants just as long as she can feel his hands on her again. All is not it seems on the ranch because someone wants to hurt her father. They won’t stop at just him but now have set their sights on her. Lacey has no idea what to do but knows that having Chase near her is turning her life and sleep upside down.
Chase Saunders knows people are talking, especially on the ranch. Ever since Lacey has come back his life has been turned upside down. He knew she was beautiful from the pictures he’s seen and the way her father talked about her. Yet up close and personal he has never seen an enchanting woman like her. Each time they’re near each other all he wants is to kiss her and much more. He knows he must protect her yet every time he does something happens to her. He’s been heartbroken one time and swore no woman would hurt him again. Although, Lacey is one woman he’s trying very hard to stay away from but his heart knows where it belongs.
Ah Tory Richards has done it again with this hot and sexy story. I loved that Chase swore off women yet when it comes to Lacey he has no chance. Now Lacey is definitely a woman who has some issues yet when it comes to Chase she is confused. Tory sure knows how to spice up a story and boy did this ever. Definitely a book everyone should read for Chase and Lacey are perfect for each other.
