Dan and Lonnie are good friends who usually work out together at a local gym. Things go along their daily routine until, one day, Dan spots Gene in a gym mirror. Having turned forty, and still getting over a relationship that ended nine months previously, Dan feels he out of Gene's young, bodybuilding league. But does Gene think so?
The day after Dan first sees Gene, Gene asks Dan if he would be willing to share a work out. Dan agrees and one thing leads to another - a conversation over a smoothie, a date, and even a weekend out of town. The only question that remains is whether Dan will let Gene into his life or will he give up on something that could lead to a relationship before it even begins?
Spot Me is a wonderful story of exploring new relationships, looking past superficial differences, and finding something better for yourself, even if it seems impossible at first. Story worth reading.

Working out is a daily routine for Dan, who meets his friend Lonnie at the gym to lift weights. But breaking a sweat takes on a whole new meaning when Dan sees Gene, a professional bodybuilder, in the mirror. Dan knows it's a lost cause: he's forty and nursing a broken heart, nowhere in the same league as gorgeous Gene.
Then at the gym the next day, Gene asks Dan if he can work out with him. A bet wins Dan a smoothie and conversation, which surprisingly leads to a date. Now Dan is faced with a dilemma: does he allow Gene to elbow his way into his life, or will he give up on the idea of a new relationship before it even starts?
