I enjoyed this book a great deal. I loved Mariah, for her intelligence and her spirited nature. I also fell head over heels in love with Harry – he’s witty, clever, and a fine hand at acting. I did think that it would have been nice to have had them have a bit more interaction before Mariah fell headlong into love – but since I felt the same way, I guess I can’t complain. There were times when the book was laugh-out-loud funny and I appreciated that amidst all the intrigue and suspicion. I loved this story and I’ll definitely be looking for more stories by Caroline Linden, especially if they involve the very delicious Brandon. His was an enigmatic presence and I would dearly love to know more about him. Waiting on tenterhooks for my next fix.
