Simone Littleton has a gift that seems to have everyone around making fun of her. She communicates with animals and has been doing so since she was a young girl. Although she puts up a thick protective wall to shield everyone’s harsh comments, she still feels bad for being made a mockery of just because she possesses the unique ability to hear what animals have to say from their hearts. She is frustrated that no one believes she actually has this ability.
Devoting all her time to being an Aromatherapist at the Texas race track and a volunteer at the horse rescue ranch her girlfriend owns, she hasn’t been very lucky in finding a special someone to spend some time with. But once she meets up with Chet Wallace and his dog, Pollock it seems her whole world is turned upside down.
Ms. Wilson has penned a wonderful story. I loved how the author came up with the creative storyline of Simone being able to communicate with animals and I was truly heartbroken with how she was treated by most people because of her special gift. I fell in love with Simone not only because of her talent with animals, but also how she was the perfect compliment for Chet. I absolutely adored the choice of names chosen for all the animals, especially the horses. I enjoyed this story so much I just couldn’t put it down. Ms. Wilson wrote every detail with a purpose and in the end, she told a beautiful story of love between humans and animals. I highly recommend this story and eagerly look forward to reading more from this author.
