For Better, For Worse was a spectacular read. It is real, emotional, sexy and highly erotic.
Lance and Samantha Phillips have been married for seven years, not all of them bliss filled. In an effort to save their marriage, they’ve attended marriage counseling, which hasn’t seemed to help any. Lance doesn’t want a divorce and convinces Sam to go on a weekend retreat. But will this be the final nail in the coffin, which has become their marriage? Or will the weekend provide much needed insight in making this work?
Don’t be fooled by the storyline. While it may seem depressing or even mundane, it isn’t. Ms Cary writes very real, relatable characters that showcased the everyday situations, emotions and thoughts we find ourselves in. I was rooting for Samantha and Lance to work through their problems and succeed in their relationship and marriage because of Ms Cary’s rich and detailed characterization. They could be any couple facing difficult times in their marriage. And lest you think the sexual and erotic aspects of the book were used as a cure all to solve Lance and Samantha’s marriage woes, they aren’t. For Better, For Worse pulled me in from the first line and help me until the end. Readers interested in an enchanting, amazing read should pick up For Better, For Worse by Michelle Cary. I look forward to reading more of Ms Cary in the future.

Series: Husbands and Wives; Other Books: Par Three by Anne Douglas and
GWM Wanted by Amanda Young
Series Note: Each title in the Husbands and Wives series can be read as a standalone title.
Genre: Erotic Ménage Contemporary
Length: Novella
After seven years of marriage and the birth of their first son, Lance and Samantha Phillips find themselves facing the real possibility that their marriage may be over. Immersed in her role as a working mother, Samantha is tired, frustrated, and resentful that Lance can't understand how she feels and cut her some slack.
Lance has never had a problem taking second place to his baby boy, but being treated as though he doesn't exist is more than he's willing to tolerate. He's stood by and watched Samantha fall into a depression and spiral out of control for too long. The last thing he wants is to walk away from woman he loves, but he's left with few options when she refuses to admit there's anything wrong.
In a last-ditch effort to save their marriage Lance books a weekend at an Intimacy Retreat. At first, Sam is combative and resentful of his ultimatum -- do the retreat with him or their marriage is over. Once there, she slowly discovers the person she'd lost and realizes that being a mom doesn't mean she can't still be a sexy vixen who likes to stir things up in the bedroom. A little voyeurism, combined with toys, bondage, and suggestion of a ménage, and before long it becomes clear that their lives will change as a result of the retreat. But will it be for better...or worse?
Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse, ménage (m/f/m), mild bondage and flogging.
