Centuries old, Michael and Nico are lonely….and hungry. Together forever, the cousins share everything. Everything. Tired of one night stands, they come up with a plan to find a woman who will be their companion and their source for sustenance. And most importantly, she must want it and crave it. How to find a woman like that?
Rafaela is a woman who knows what she wants but can’t seem to find it. She craves a man, or two, who make her the center of their world. Resorting to internet dating, she thinks she’s hit the jackpot with Michael. And when he takes her home to meet his cousin she’s overwhelmed with a sense of rightness. No stranger to the creatures of the night she takes their announcement that they are vampires in stride. Everyone is happy with the arrangement that ensues, but there is someone not in their triad who has an agenda that will end it all. Forever.
Kismet and fate play their part in bringing Nico, Michael and Rafaela together. While Rafaela is uber pissed when she discovers that Michael put her under thrall at the beginning, she determines she’s not going to let a little thing like that get in the way of her living her fantasy. All is good until her vampires are abducted by a hunter determined to end them. Who is the real criminal; the vampires who observe the law or a madman who dishes out his brand of justice?
Steamy and erotic, this was a good escape from the harshness of reality. I thoroughly enjoyed all the carnal exploits these three indulged in. The fact that Rafaela was the hero at the end endeared me even more. A good read that won’t disappoint.
Book Length: Short Novel
With her unglamorous job, crappy hours and limited choices, Rafaela finds herself reduced to internet dating. She just wants to meet a man she considers even remotely interesting. Or satisfying.
Her latest match-up is tall, dark and handsome Michael. He and his cousin and companion, Nico—gorgeous must be a family trait—are vampires. They’re getting tired of constantly hunting for a good meal and good sex. Too many complications. Too much danger of discovery.
They have decided to offer one woman—the right woman—an interesting proposition. An offer that just might fulfill all of Rafaela’s wildest fantasies.
