Not quite sure why she cut him lose, Columbo Balbane is missing his ex something fierce. It’s been 10 months since he seen her, and now that’s he’s back he makes an appointment with a new business called the Ex Factor, a facility where people simulate last meetings with old lovers to try and get closure. Why does the woman impersonating his ex seem so much like the real woman?
Teasy Rose chose to hid her ability as a witch. Witches are considered dangerous and outlaws, and she’d rather work with her hands anyway than take the easy way and use magic to get things done. But when, in her exhaustion from running her candy shop practically single-handedly, she breaks up with Columbo right before he goes on a long haul, she realizes the problem wasn’t Columbo but her business, so she sells it and starts another; the Ex Factor. Imagine her surprise when the catalyst for her life changes has an appointment. Who better to play herself than herself?
Steamy and with a side of magic, Ex Factor was a quick satisfying read. No matter what the location or the period of time you will find that love is never easy. Columbo’s inability to forget Teasy illustrates to him that his lust is really love, and Teasy just needed a wake up call to see what was really important in life. Seductive games and interesting use of candy products makes for a great read.

Can you go home again? Columbo Balbane still misses his ex, even though he’s far away from her, transporting cargo around the solar system. He’s still in love…and in lust.
Teasy Rose never told Columbo she’s a witch. In the ten months since their relationship ended, she’s decided to stop living without magic. She’s sold her candy shop and founded Ex Factor, a facility where people simulate last meetings with old lovers. Spells help her impersonate other people’s exes. Now Columbo has set up an appointment with her, without knowing it’s the real Teasy.
Is she ready for closure? If not, can he live with the consequences of her lifestyle change, particularly in a time when witches are outlaws?
