Cameron Lynde and Jack Pallas have a past. It’s a past both wish had never happened and both would be happy to never lay eyes on the other again. Unfortunately fate has other plans for the FBI Agent and the Assistant District Attorney.

When Cameron decides to spend the night while her newly refinished floors are drying in an exclusive hotel for some pampering she unwittingly becomes a witness to a murder. She is more than happy to cooperate and give the police all the information she can, until Jack walks in that is. Jack is not the person she wants to deal with as lead investigator. She still hasn’t forgiven him for the comments he made to a reporter 3 years ago.

Jack isn’t happy to have to deal with Cameron either. He hasn’t forgiven her for letting the man who tortured him for two days walk away without prosecuting him. Jack had spent 2 years undercover gathering evidence to bring down one of Chicago’s top mobsters and his organization. When Jack lost his temper and spouted off to a reporter, he regretted it, especially after being transferred to Nebraska. He thinks the transfer was Cameron’s idea.

Cameron and Jack must put aside their animosity toward each other for the sake of the investigation and Cameron’s safety. Cameron is put into protective custody … with Jack as the protector. Not the situation either of them would like to be in, especially with all their unresolved past issues and an attraction neither is happy about.

Ms. James once again takes us into the world of lawyers and all those they work with. She once again does it with hilarity, smart aleky and witty one liners, characters you can’t help but love, a plot with enough mystery to keep you turning pages and sex scenes steamy enough to relieve the winter dryness of an entire house.

Ms. James has taken the contemporary romance and added her own unique style to it. She has debunked the myth that attorneys are money grubbing greedy jerks and shown them for what most really are, dedicated to the law and upholding one of this country’s most sacred tenants, that every person is entitled to fair and adequate representation in a court of law.

Well done, Ms. James. Well done indeed.

Book Blurb & Info for Something About You

FATE HAS THROWN TWO SWORN ENEMIES. . .

Of all the hotel rooms rented by all the adulterous politicians in Chicago, female Assistant U.S. Attorney Cameron Lynde had to choose the one next to 1308, where some hot-and-heavy lovemaking ends in bloodshed. And of all the FBI agents in Illinois, it had to be Special Agent Jack Pallas who gets assigned to this high-profile homicide. The same Jack Pallas who still blames Cameron for a botched crackdown three years ago—and nearly ruining his career…

INTO EACH OTHER’S ARMS

Work with Cameron Lynde? Are they kidding? Maybe, Jack thinks, this is some kind of welcome-back prank after his stint away from Chicago. But it’s no joke: the pair is going to have to put their rocky past behind them and focus on the case at hand. That is, if they can cut back on the razor-sharp jibes—and smother the flame of their sizzling-hot sexual tension…
