Have you ever loved someone who didn’t love you in return? The obvious answer for just about everyone is a resounding YES. Harry Gage loved his co-worker and co-star, but she didn’t love him back. They worked together at a center for sexual advancement and made educational sex videos.
Melissa Hopkins is a starving art student, and niece to Harry’s former love, trying to find her “passion” for her art. And now she’s working at the center. She’s intelligent, open, honest and willing to try anything. Except tell Harry she’s his ex’s niece.
The sparks fly between Harry and Melissa until one fateful video shoot. When harry mistakenly thinks Melissa is his ex’s daughter. Then betrayal and hurt are the name of the game between these two.
Adriana Kraft is actually a married couple writing as one. They explore the issues of sexuality, intimacy, sexual taboos, honesty and trust in Smoldering Passion. All of which can make or break a relationship. They also explore the effects of the sexual revolution of the late 60’s and early 70’s in today’s world. Where we’ve come from and how far we still have to go. They explore the difference between sex and lovemaking, and how it is possible to combine the two.
The characters are bold and multifaceted. The plot is well thought out and well developed. And the happily ever after comes with a lot of issues to work out and work through. But the things you treasure most are the ones you have to work the hardest for. Something Harry and Melissa learn along the way.

Her air of innocence will captivate center viewers, so he’s sure she’ll be a hit on camera. What he’s not prepared for is how she pierces his heart.
