Hello Marie,

The girls of Night Owl Romance are pleased that you have granted us an interview

We would love to get to know you

Could you please start by telling us a little about yourself?

Hi! I’m Marie Rochelle and I write interracial romances. I’ve been a writer for about two and a half years now. I couldn’t ask for a better more fulfilling job.

Can you please give us a sneak peek at any of your upcoming books?

Oh! My next book that is coming out is called Be with You. It should be released in Mid-December through Red Rose publishing. www.redrosepublishing.com  It’s a sizzling  winter romance. In addition, my wonderful fans will get a second winter steamy read from me. If you LOVE a boss and employer romance Special Delivery is the book for you.  A reader will be able to buy that at www.cobblestone-press.com  Both are meant to make you sweat on a cold winter’s night.

Next year in January I’ve All the Fixin and it will be published through www.phaze.com  The gorgeous cover in under the Coming Soon page on the Phaze website.

I’ve more books coming out throughout 2008 and you can find out all about them on my website http://www1.freewebs.com/irwriter/

Please tell us what you have planned next?

I’m planning to finish up the next two books in my bestselling series The Men of CCD. Right now, I’m still looking for a home for Loving True and Slow Seduction. However, I’ve my fingers crossed that 2008 will be the year for them a new publishing home.

What do you do for inspiration?

Good question J I usually take a long hot bath and try to relax my mind. Once I’m fully pampered the ideas just seem to pop into my head. My characters don’t let me take a break for long. They all want their HEA (Happily Ever After.)

Do deadlines help or hinder your muse?

Deadlines help my muse. They make me work harder at getting my muse(books) out there for my readers. I can’t tell you who my muse is because it varies from book to book. *Grin*

What would you like to tell your readers?

I want my readers to know that I’m going to try to keep writing good books for them to enjoy and get lost in. I love when my readers can relate to the emotions of my characters.

What was your first published work and when was it published?

My first book published was Taken by Storm a little over two years ago and it was an instant bestseller (which was very surprising to me.)

What would be the best way for readers contact you? Do you have a website? Email address? MySpace site? Blog? Message Board? Group?

I’ve several ways for readers to get in touch with me. First, they can email me @ marierochelle2@yahoo.com. My website http://www1.freewebs.com/irwriter/ or lastly on my blog http://shopdiva28.blogspot.com . They can also join Shades of Love my yahoo group through my website or blog.

How can readers find out more about you and your books?

Readers can find out more about me by visiting my website, blog, emailing me or visiting any of my publishers websites.
